Translation edit
I've translated this article from the Finnish article of the same name, but I couldn't figure out where to put this seeminly irrelevant paragraph in the translated article:
On March 25, 1952, Tapio Rautavaara drove Arvo Alanne’s car into a mail truck in Ruotsalonkylä in Kälviä due to slippery conditions. Miss Aura Alanne suffered a concussion and radio commentator Niilo Tarvajärvi escaped with scratched, but Rautavaara’s guitar was completely destroyed.[1]
If someone can figure out a good place to stick it in the article, please do by all means. -Yupik 18:59, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

Grand Duchy of Finland edit
Just to clarify, shouldn't it say that Rautavaara was born in Grand Duchy of Finland, since Finland didn't gain independence from Russia until 1917? Suden13 (talk) 17:47, 29 July 2019 (UTC)
tapiorautavaara.net edit
tapiorautavaara.net is no longer a dead link. It's now a thinly veiled advertisement site for an online casino, which has nothing to do with Tapio Rautavaara. Should the link be removed from the article? JIP | Talk 15:29, 20 June 2020 (UTC)
