The article states: "... a duo who won almost everything that there was to win in track and field, except for distance running."
Their medal record would suggest that this is not remotely true. Did either of them even compete in the sprints (other than the hurdles), the relay, the high jump, the long jump or the javelin?
(And it's hardly surprising that they didn't win distance running events, given that it seems that these did not exist (for women) in the Olympics / European Championships at the time.) --David Edgar (talk) 10:28, 28 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
