First Talk Show? edit

The first I'm aware of (though I'm sure there are earlier ones, especially if you consider radio broadcast) is the Ed Sullivan Show, originally titled "Toast of the Town". It debuted in 1948. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.187.202.130 (talk) 05:25, January 26, 2019 (UTC)

Updated the Header edit

I updated the header to make it more aligned with the body of the article. I also removed the details about guests, as it would be more vital to include this info in a separate section or paragraph of the article rather than in the header. I also added a source on which I will elaborate later. ShonteDS (talk) 03:34, 2 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Other Changes edit

I added information to "Subgenres" to include material about "generic" genres as well as a reference.
I added information to "History" to include facts about the first talk show along with references.
This edit was later removed but unsure as to why. I added facts to "Around the World" to include details about how talks shows migrated to Europe and included a reference.
