Brothers edit

For the record: Tadas became Lithuanian, Jerzy and Stanisław became Polish, Wacław became Belarusian. Very educational, I think. --Lysytalk 19:37, 17 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I especially liked the story that one of them, Stanisław I think, brought all Tadas stuffed animals collections in two wagons through the front line:) The war was stopped for a half a day:) And what's so educational about this?--Lokyz 19:59, 17 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
I find it an educational example of how the Polish/Lithuanian/Belarusian nationality is relative and depending on what people considered themselves. --Lysytalk 21:20, 17 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Of course all of this nationality crap is "modern" blather, and probably all of the people between the Elbe river and Ural mountains share more biological similarities than not. It is language or religion that created the nationalistic distinctions within the last millenium or less. However all of these nationalities have their proto-types, and cultures (but they weren't waving flags and singing national anthems), and that cannot be denied either. Encyclopedia Article edit

Please, could the author of the Nationality Controversy, rewrite or remove the section, because as it stands it belongs on the talk page and not in an encyclopedia article. Otherwise I will do so myself. Dr. Dan 17:14, 20 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Anarchism edit

In university I was studying one professor has mentioned, that while studying in Paris, Ivanauskas got interested in anarchism, but I can't find any sources that could confirm this. Maybe somebody can come up with any sources for this? Encyclopaedia Editing Dude 16:12, 21 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
