Much of the content of this article applies equally to Indonesia (Mandi), and presumably other south-east asian countries too. In the absence of any reason to keep it Philippine-specific, I'll add information about other countries, but then the title could be reviewed, given that there is no canonical name for this tool in English and it's different between countries. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.90.234.135 (talk) 11:40, 3 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

This is specific to the Philippines, because Tabo is a Filipino word. If Indonesians use it too, perhaps offer legitimate sources and terms for that culture. This is significant enough to mention, since this is what most living in or near Filipino communities would hear.

I also want to note that Filipinos do in fact use toilet paper along side the Tabo. Paper first, then Tabo washing. My source: Filipino family. Asking them if they just go on without toilet paper got me that strong side-long stare. 172.115.56.220 (talk) 04:07, 7 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
