Plastic isn't mentioned as a material. I cut 3"x3" cards out of a plastic for-sale/no-trespassing/no-hunting type of sign. Put 9 or so in a deck, and round the corners using a sander, then drill holes with a Forstner bit. Far outlasts the cardboard types w/o tear-in. --Thistledowne (talk) 07:49, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

The image depicts warp threads strung through four-cornered tablets or cards. The warp is stabilized on the pegs of an inkle loom, but the weaving technique pictured is, in fact, tablet weaving.
