The article needs to be expanded. According to fa:گاه‌شماری_طبری, the Tabarian year begins on 1 Fardīneh Mā, which corresponds to 2 Mordād in the Solar Hijri calendar (about 24 July in the Gregorian calendar). Each of the twelve months of the Tabarian calendar consists of 30 days. In addition, five or six epagomenal days are inserted between the eighth month, Ūneh Mā, and the ninth month, Arkeh Mā.
