Requirements is not "crystall ball gazing"
editIt is not speculative to state the technical requirements of what is necessary for the audio signal of a digital television channel to be extracted by an ATSC tuner. The requirements are clearly defined and followed by every digital television device in production.
An audio-only digital TV receiver would simply discard the video portion of the data stream and not do anything with the data, but still needs to do all processing steps up to that point due to how the data is multiplexed together in subchannels. DMahalko (talk) 13:43, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
