Neutral tone edit

Please do not continue to add all of those links and advertising details. That version very unambiguously violates wikipedia's policies on WP:SPAM. While the version I have is obviously just a stub, it is the maximum we can safely put without references. If you want to improve this article, please add reliable, secondary sources. Please do not add any more links to ttnet itself. Wikipedia is not the place to promote a companies products. Qwyrxian (talk) 22:28, 19 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Recent Changes edit

The Hurriyet article is a great addition, and helps establish provide verifiability to the article. I removed the LinkedIn references, though. Linkedin is a social networking site, and, in general, those sites aren't considered reliable sources. That's because they're entirely user created (interestingly, for the same reason, Wikipedia itself is not considered a "reliable source"), so there's no way to verify the information. However, the statement of the current CEO is probably okay to leave without a source, because it's unlikely to be challenged. If that information is on the TTNET home page (even if it's only on the Turkish version), you could site that, as a company's webpage is considered reliable for that sort of information. Move edit

I moved the article from Ttnet to TTNET because it appears like the company calls itself by the second name, as does the linked Hurriyet article. If I've overlooked something, please let me know. The old name should still redirect here.

To Qwyrxian edit

The official name of the company is TTNET. I was tring to edit that but I couldn't. It'S nice that you did it. Sena5k —Preceding undated comment added 10:29, 20 July 2010 (UTC).Reply

Please stop. You are making additions that are 1) Not compatible with the Wikipedia Manual of Style (bolding, adding red links to articles that will never be notable enough to be created) 2) Adding information that is not notable (the General Manager) and 3) Adding too much advertising like info (the complete list of products). I am sincerely trying to help you maintain the article to Wikipedia standards. Wikipedia does not allow pages to be like advertisements. You made a step in the right direction by adding the reliable secondary sources. Your goal should be to continue to add that type of information, not to format the article like you're trying to sell TTNET. I am worried that you may be involved with the company in some way (as employee, owner, investor, etc.). If you are, please read the Wikipedia policy on conflict of interest. If you are related to the company, you are expected to declare that connection, and to edit in a strictly neutral fashion. Again, I am more than welcome to answer questions here, on your talk page, or on my talk page. If you persist in adding information that is advertising-like, I will have to start tagging this as vandalism and following Wikipedia policies on preventing vandalism. I understand the rules of Wikipedia. My aim is no to make advertisement but add neutral information about the company. There was a negative information I wanted to correct it. I am a new user and my first obstacle was to find where and how to add references, then today while reading "Wikipedia how to write tutorials" I've learned that I need to show references other than primary resources. Then I discovered that there you were editing my writing and giving me tips about how to do it right, which is great. I'll read conflict of interest to say weather I'm connected with the company or not. I'm responsible to represent several companies in social media. Probably I am sort of involved. But not for only this company there will be more companies that I'll provide unbieased, neutral information. Thanks for informing about that option, COI. From now on I'll read more about how to do things on wiki. Still I'm not sure if you'll recieve my reply. I'm more used to use user-friendly chat boxes :) Please feel free to erase any misleading entry and warn me. Sena5k
