...you mean the lunatics actually sold GUN MAGAZINES to people without doing background checks and a complete psychological analysis to make sure every customer who wanted to buy a magazine (or even several) was a completely sane and risk-free individual? A perfect example of what's wrong with the firearms industry today. Clearly it's the businesses' responsibility to do an investigation into anyone seeking to purchase something as suspicious as a Glock magazine, and make sure they have a completely clean record of mental health. In person interviews with an on-staff psychologist or screener wold probably be in order, since most of the people won't have any actually past record of mental illness, per se, but something in their manner or bearing might bring up a red flag, so the company can decline to sell them dangerous things like magazines (even unloaded ones, although the sale of loaded magazines is another huge problem, or so I assume) or even magazine loaders which make it much easier for people to carry out mass shootings (right?). There was clearly no accountability at work here, and it's very significant that three mass shooters chose to purchase their magazines from this source; just because it's a widely-used internet supply house for gun-related accessories doesn't make it mere "coincidence" that all three killers would have procured their weapons there. It must be significant, or why else would MSNBC have brought it up? Next thing you'll be telling me is that multiple shooters bought up to a hundred bullets at a time, without any flags being raised!
