Citizenship status

I have yet to finish researching on this, looking at only resources at NewspaperSG up till 1962:

Ex-PAP leader: I may take this to court - 10 Dec 1958
Citizen certificate: Mr. Rajah won't give it up - 13 December 1958
Rajah citizen case: Show cause order for Chief Secretary - 17 January 1959
Rajah says: I value citizenship above all - 31 January 1959
Rajah's citizenship plea is dismissed - 1 February 1959.

Facts so far:

Applied for Singapore citizenship on 1 Nov 1957, right after the 1957 ordinance kicked in, and was approved.
Citizenship rescinded on 6 Dec 1958.
Citizenship case dismissed on 1 Feb 1959.
Remained a British citizen.
