SynetiniSynetinae – This tribe is currently treated as a subfamily by most recent sources I have found. See Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Beetles#Synetini or Synetinae? for some earlier discussion (well, mostly me talking) and some examples of sources. ITIS meanwhile may be using an outdated classification, since the relevant record was last updated in 2006. I was actually thinking of doing this move myself but for technical reasons I can't ...maybe it's just as well, since this possibly could still be controversial anyway?
