Contested deletion edit

This page should not be speedy deleted because currently on Wikipedia there is no reference to this important historic site referenced in the Bible. I don't have a lot of sourceable material, but am hoping that others can improve this article Brjusa (talk) 21:31, 26 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Wrong title. Suggest "Synagogue Church (Nazareth)" edit

Hi @Zero0000:. A "synagogue church" (no capital letters) is a common term when referring to the house of worship of Judeo-Christians in the first centuries CE. It so happens that this building from Nazareth is known as the Synagogue Church, although there is little to support this identification, whereas there is good archaeological proof for a synagogue church at the site of, and older than, the mid-5th-century basilica at the site of Mary's house, now inside the grand Catholic Basilica of the Annunciation. There is hardly a chance that the few Judeo-Christians of the tiny pre-Constantinian village needed two houses of worship, a stone throw away from each other. But apart from that, the title must be changed. Thanks as always, Arminden (talk) 10:29, 1 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
