dead link, blog edit

The Annie Hall mention in the Thalia section has a dead link citation not formatted as a footnote. I found another blog using the content-part of the dead-link url on Google; it also has the Annie Hall fact and seems credible and non-controversial. I note the non-controversial because the new blog, on WordPress, earned an automatic 'not allowed' by Wikipedia though 'non-controversial' was given as an allowable exception. The not-allowed also suggested a note on the Talk page (here that is). Here's the proposed citation: Sadowski, David, [https://theclarktheater.wordpress.com/2016/09/27/new-yorks-thalia/ "New York’s Thalia"], ''theclarktheater.wordpress.com'', September 27, 2016. Retrieved 2023-08-23. I propose using it in the article. Swliv (talk) 04:24, 24 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

  • 'reflist-talk' was added here by bot but with no substantive comment I'm going to add the proposed citation to the article; and the 'dead link' tag on the remaining uses of the current, [20:20 (UTC) and fix the] Variety citation. Swliv (talk) 19:32, 14 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
  • I've cleaned up the Variety link so the link's not dead anymore. I hadn't read the 'not-allowed' closely enough -- "non-controversial material where the blog or website is owned by the subject of the article" -- but found a citation provided by the blogger Sadowski that works; 'blog.unl.edu/dixon/2012/07/02' citation replaced.
