Odd statement edit

- The finale really shows some of the reasons why Sibelius, decades later, admitted to feeling a special kinship with the older Russian master. Both the propulsive use of sequences and the writing for brass and strings here come amazingly close to signature techniques of Sibelius, e.g. in Finlandia and in his early symphonies. 188.150.64.57 (talk) 19:44, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
Form: Adagio Cantabile edit
The statement that this movement is monothematic seems odd. The oboe theme starting in measure 24 is at least a major variation on the opening theme. I might argue that it's unrelated. Beowulf (talk) 18:04, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
