editShe's mentioned extensively in Budd Schulberg's Moving Pictures as having a long affair with his father B.P. Someone should write it up. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.239.241.200 (talk) 04:43, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
I liked her performance in "God Told Me So;" she had a pretty big scene in that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.99.28.223 (talk) 23:35, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
Political leanings
editA user with the IP 69.114.153.68 who used the feedback for this article stated that he/she knew Sidney personally and that she was a Democrat. That may be true, but as it is not verifiable, it is inappropriate to add to Wikipedia (where all information must be verifiable). If this user can find a printed source or a published audio/video interview where her political leanings are stated, they should add that to the article. -- kosboot (talk) 22:37, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
- I agree. I removed the reference to her being a Republican for the same reason. The only reference for this allegation is a book and a page number, which cannot be even accessed online, much less confirmed. As she was not a political activist, better to leave it out altogether. Best known
editSomeone added that Sidney is best known for her role in Beetlejuice. While not minimizing her role in that film, I emphatically disagree with this statement. I believe her filmography shows that she is best known for being a leading lady in early 1930s films. - kosboot (talk) 12:40, 30 August 2016 (UTC)
