All Wikipedia content must be verifiable. To be included on the list of notable alumni, a reliable published source must be cited that says the person attended the school. For example, the list entry for Syed Mujtaba Ali cites an article in The Daily Star, which says "Tagore had visited Sylhet in 1919 and met with high school students of Sylhet Government High School, where Mujtaba Ali was a student of Class VII." The purpose of the {{citation needed}} cleanup templates is to prompt editors to fix the problems by adding sources. The maintenance templates should not be removed until the problems are fixed or the unverified content is removed.

The entry for Arup Ratan Choudhury cites no source saying he attended the school. The profile for him on Trityo Matra says he graduated from Mymensingh District School in 1968. Unless another authoritative source can be cited that says he also attended this school, he may not be added to the list of notable alumni.

Avoid unnecessary capitalization, in accordance with Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Capital letters. Professions in the list of notable alumni, such as writer, medical doctor, singer, etc., should not be capitalized. --Worldbruce (talk) 13:25, 21 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
