I believe the proper edits have been made to make this article conform to Wikipedia's NPOV policy. There were previously some editorial comments. Those have been removed. --70.61.154.202 (talk) 19:58, 5 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

I went to Sycamore and I was member of the sports program and achieved a high level of success and Milford was never viewed as a rival — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yaifuz26 (talkcontribs) 02:35, 14 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Puffery

edit

This article is full of fluff, puffery, and other garbage that makes Sycamore HS sound way better than it actually is. We are talking about a high school here that has been on academic probation for 2 years! Bml2424 (talk) 00:04, 7 January 2016 (UTC)Blm2424Reply

I'd ask for specifics, but you were indeffed minutes after leaving the above. Meters (talk) 00:12, 7 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Athletics

edit

Per WP:WPSCHOOLS/AG#OS we don't list individual athletic results, non-notable individuals, or team results less than State championship. I've removed all individual results, the conference titles, the State Final 4 appearances, and the State Runner ups. This material belongs on a school webpage, not the school's Wikipedia article. The claim of an Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) National Baseball Championship in 1992 is rather odd. I can find no evidence to support this and even if a team from the town did win was it actually representing the high school? High school baseball was being organized by the OHSAA in 1992 so it seems doubtful a high school team would have been in the Amateur Athletic Union. At the very least this needs more specifics (which category did they win?) and a source to verify the win and that the team was representing the school (and not just made up of students). I have removed the claim of two Non-OHSAA Team State Championships in Boys Tennis Division I (2014, 2015). The OHSAA was organizing high school tennis then, and Sycamore boys did win the State doubles those years. If those are the wins in question then they are OHSAA wins, but I don't consider them team wins. If the wins are something else then we need sources to show the win, that it was a team win, and that the team was representing the high school. Note that tennis is not listed as one of the non-Greater Miami Conference sports the school participates in.Meters (talk) 01:54, 18 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
