Use of "terrorism"

Take a look at WP:LABEL which states that "terrorist" as a contentious label is a word to be avoided. Next, in case there is any ambiguity about policy regarding categorization of alleged criminals, do read WP:BLPCAT which states (important parts bolded in case users are blinded by trigger-happy nationalist/religious/sectarian/ethnic/political fervor)

Caution should be used with categories that suggest a person has a poor reputation (see false light). For example, Category:Criminals and its subcategories should only be added for an incident that is relevant to the person's notability; the incident was published by reliable third-party sources; the subject was convicted; and the conviction was not overturned on appeal

So, before the category Category:Hindu terrorism is added to the category, feel free to prove: a) That Aseemanand was convicted of terrorist crimes b) That on the attacks he allegedly plotted, that he is even the only suspect c) That reliable sources call him a "Hindu terrorist"

Happy editing. Any edits contrary to the policies above can and will be summarily reverted.Pectoretalk 04:18, 23 December 2011 (UTC)
