Beka

Village Beka was the second largest town at the time of Hund /Hond empror.The firts largest was Lahor( Capital of Hund) and Beka was the biggest town at the that time. The new Beka is old enough about 285 years. The old Beka was replace by river indus, due to a flood and diveration of river . The new Beka came under the water and people move to the parallel side. Usaually they settle in thir own land on paralle side. The old Beka spilit in so many villages, now a days they are known to be , Beka, Nabi, Dari, Sala, Haryan, Balo, Zakariya, Bangla(Shukhat Khan land),Inbar till ziyada. This the reason you can see the same clan people (Tajo/Taju Khel) which is one of the branch of yusufzai clan.

This land produce very famous people throgh out the world. They not know only in country but some of them are very pupolar and settled abraod in UK & US.

Nero Surgen DR. Nisar Khan, was Lt General, talanted individual who got this honours. He was the first Army General with Mediciane Profession from Beka. Fazal Akbar Khan (late), was Deputy Commissionar, performed his services at Dir operation( to combine Dir with Pakistan). He performed work in foregin office and abroad with different desgnations. He was 44 when he died. His graveyard in Beka Dari. He got four son's and Two daughters. Ameen Khan, Aronatical engg (US),is the brother of Mr Akbar Khan. Haji Mohabat Khan Late was social walfare activist and always gave his strenght to bring female literacy as equal to men in area. He denoated his land for Girls, Primary, Girls High, childeren schools, Hospital and to grave yards. he was very keen of education, due to his wish his son give his luxuary baunglow to Public school to facilitate people with good quality of education.
