Medieval metal as genre

The reference behind "Medieval metal" as genre states "Athough classed as Medieval Metal, this is pretty much a straightforward Neo-Medieval evocation...". I read this as "This album has nothing to do with metal, even though it might be classified as such". Just because the band has experimented a bit with metal influences and has played on a number of metal festivals does not mean all their releases should be classified as metal. 212.123.159.14 (talk) 07:51, 1 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
