I don't think Devta deserves to be merged into the Suspense Digest article because it is a unique phenomenon in the history of story-telling. I personally adore the story as it is the most engaging story I have ever read and despite the length it has always been the jewel of Suspense Digest.
Moreover most of the nineteenth cetury novels that we have in book forms today were also serialised in different digests/megazines of their time but the stories are now known for their own individual merit. So I think the idea of merging the two articles is basically flawed.
