Should we mention that it was going to take place in Montreal. Bencey 14:18, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

It was never actually announced that it was goind to take place in Montreal. It was just speculation of the 10th anniversary of the Montreal Screwjob. 24.21.130.80 00:11, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
Actually, yes it was. When WWE released their 2007 PPV scheduled, it had SS in Montreal. See, right here on WWE's own corporate website: http://corporate.wwe.com/news/2006/2006_04_10.jsp . TJ Spyke 00:15, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

I fixed the article Fresh Prince Carlton 22:30, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

Who changed it back to miami??

Umm it says right on corporate WWE that it'll be in Montreal. it is a definitive source. plus i wouldn't put it past vince to put it in montreal esp with the 10th aniversary of the montreal screwjob Fresh Prince Carlton 16:16, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

I changed it back to the Bell Centre. Whoever keeps changing it to miami, talk about it here first. (Sawyer 05:40, 4 August 2007 (UTC))

Down boy, down. [1]-- bulletproof 3:16 05:47, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

Who keeps changing it to Miami? It says right there on WWE's corporate website that its going to be in Montreal. (Sawyer 05:01, 6 August 2007 (UTC))

Wow... Never knew there were people out there who took info released more than a year ago to be more credible than info released two months ago... Shame... -- bulletproof 3:16 05:07, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

Bulletproof it's a shame that you don't know how to talk polite to people "down boy down" I'm so sorry I didn't see that o.k. don't flip out. Fresh Prince Carlton 15:52, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

Not trying to antagonize at all. Just seemed funny to me that two users take comments made a few months ago so seriously. Honestly Wikipedia gets edited thousands of times a day with dozens of reputable editors contributing to the Pro Wrestling Wikiproject. Don't you think someone would have already changed the location back to Montreal if the event were still being held there? Not only that but after there being a source cited in the article itself about the new location of the event you didn't even bother to see it and still reverted the article. Just try to be more careful next time. Cheers. -- bulletproof 3:16 18:29, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

Poster?

Is this the official poster? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 01:34, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

I added it on the page Socks 01 04:17, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

removed. a lot of people have come to the conclusion that it is a photoshoped fake, not to mention there is nothing on the website of it Lynx Raven Raide 23:54, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
Put back in. The poster is from a RELIABLE source (In Demand's website. In Demand is usually the first one to have TNA's posters, and also had the SummerSlam poster first). It doesn't matter what some geeks on a messageboard think, and I doubt In Demand would put a fake poster up. TJ Spyke 02:31, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
sorry, didnt realise it was from there. there have been a few photoshopped ones around (there was a version with brass knuckles with pics of Cena, Orton, Taker and Edge in the finger holes) that i wasnt sure and as i said others have disected it. but yeah, if it is from In Demand, then fair enoughLynx Raven Raide 02:39, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
I admit that the poster looks pretty boring and thought it was fake too until someone else told me it was from the In Demand website, I do hope that is not the final poster (the original poster WWE released for SummerSlam had the guys from Jackass on it). I always say where I get a picture from when I upload one to Wikipedia (since that is required), so you can see where I get a pic from. BTW, if you ever see a picture on Wikipedia and it has no source for it, add {{subst:nsd}}. TJ Spyke 02:45, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

A bunch of geeks? I like that, of course, it doesn't matter what some no it all smark thinks either, that doesn't even look like Edge, but what does a geek know? Smarks...ha! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.124.4.220 (talk) 02:15, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

Actually, it does look like Edge. Those smarks also said that Chris Jericho would return at No Mercy, and that of coarse didn't happen. TJ Spyke 02:18, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

Edge poster

Anyone know if that one's real? Doesn't look it to me, with the old picture of Edge at the top, and the even older ones of him with long hair, plus they're showing him doing a move to Shelton Benjamin, but now he's a main eventer. Plus the composition is shabby. I really hope it's fake. Mark handscombe 15:37, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

a lot of other people have come to the conclusion that it is a photoshoped fake, so i removed it. if it is the real deal, yeah put it back up, but i have to agree with everyone else saying it is fake especially concidering the style of WWE PPV posters of late. Lynx Raven Raide 00:01, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
See my above response. The poster is from a legit and reliable source, so don't remove it just because you think it doesn't look real. TJ Spyke 02:31, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
Do you have the source TJ? As you keep stating " a legit and reliable source", but I've yet to see you actually post it... Eastlygod 16:02, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
As is required on Wikipedia, I posted the source on the image page when I uploaded it (you are required to provide the source for a picture when uploading it). For those who don't want to check, it's from In Demand. TJ Spyke 00:03, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
Yep, the poster is indeed real. Davnel03 19:08, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

Well the new poster that's out on the affiliates site is much better, and I think finalised...well for now anyway. Mark handscombe 21:22, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

Some guy at In Demand probably fell for some poster online that was said to be the real one. Of course now as a result, it can never been used as a reliable source again. --Maestro25 22:30, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Um, no. The most likely result is that WWE simply changed the poster (which wouldn't be the first time). In Demand has always been reliable before, and they still are. TJ Spyke 00:40, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

On the In Demand site now they have the poster up of the Edge/Benjamin poster. I personally think that one should be used. Mainly because it just looks alot better...that's just my opinion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.124.4.220 (talk) 02:09, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

Edge's return

ok it has been confirmed that edge will return at Survivor series so whoever runs this page, you need to add it —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.171.91.210 (talk) 19:54, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

1)No it hasn't. 2)Even if it were confirmed, it's not something that would be noted on this page. TJ Spyke 23:21, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

Ok yes it has. If you watch the Survivor Series On Demand show that just came out it closes with some guy talking about Edge making his return at SS. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cmaster05 (talkcontribs) 20:42, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

In wwe mag it had a survivor series poster(like the one here) with the tag "edge is back. And hes a bit angry." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.147.247.247 (talk) 01:32, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

Like I said though, it doesn't really matter anyways. TJ Spyke 21:30, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
Right, the return of one of the greatest superstars of all time doesn't matter. Theres TJ reasoning for ya. Killswitch Engage 17:19, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
It's your opinion that he is one of the greatest (Edge is one of my favorites, but I am being objective). Right now we don't know if it will be anything more than just appearing at the event. TJ Spyke 21:33, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
Ya, I know, I was messing with ya. I'm working on being objective. To any future posters, Tj's right, we can't add it unless A)Edge vs. Bats is announced, or any match for that matter or B)An Edge appearence is announced. Killswitch Engage 17:48, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
Sorry, sarcasm is sometimes hard to do online. TJ Spyke 22:07, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

I havn't watched that ondemand thing but I reckon that if it's going to say Edge returned it should wait after the ppv and say something like "Edge made his return... Doing whatever he did". And even if he's on the poster that doesn't mean he will actually be there. WeLsHy 22:53, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

Pretty much what I think, especially about the poster (Kane was on the Judgment Day poster, but only wrestled in a dark match. TJ Spyke 22:59, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

Taker vs Batista Hell in a cell

They Announced it on Smackdown at the beginning 244pupil6 —Preceding comment was added at 23:16, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

Up until this point, its speculation. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 23:41, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
how is it speculation? we no its gonna happen.

Ortin vs Micheals

Wait, Im confused, it sais "If Orton gets disqualified, he will lose the WWE Championship."

Does this mean that the championship will become vacated, or that the championship can change hands via disqualification. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.128.10.205 (talk) 22:08, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

Check the source next to it, wwe.com just says he will lose the WWE Championship. I would assume that means HBK would win the title. TJ Spyke 23:56, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

but you forgot a match on www.wwe.com there i saw a match against Hornswoggle vs. The Great Khali User 69.32.89.34

Actually, I added the match myself less than a minute after that match was announced on RAW and its been their ever since. To answer the original question, on WWE Mobile they showed Orton talking to Regal and saying that he gets DQ'd then Michaels will get the title. TJ Spyke 21:53, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

Traditional 5 Team Diva match??

i heard rumours dat if there is a diva match @ survivor series it will either be Women's title:Beth Phoenix vs. Mickie James,Fatal 4 way for Women's title:Beth Phoenix vs. Mickie James vs. Michelle McCool vs. Victoria or Team Mickie James(mickie, maria, michelle mccool,Kelly kelly and Torrie wilson) vs. Team Beth Phoenix(beth, melina, jillian, victoria and layla).User:SeanMorleyRoxsNovember 12,2007

Not to be rude, but so? We don' add rumors to the main page and this talk page isn't for rumors and speculation. TJ Spyke 22:38, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
TJ Spyke is correct. Wikipedia is not a place for rumors or speculations. If in fact they do, which they probably won't seen as it 6 days away, but if they do then we will add it. Okay? -- KBW1 17:53, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

Can someone please change the 10 diva tag match to a (5-on-5) Survivor Series Match? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.184.176.18 (talk) 01:12, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

It's not a traditional SS match though. Check the source (wwe.com) and you will see they never say that. It's a regular 5 on 5 match, meaning that the first fall will end the match. TJ Spyke 01:37, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

Hey guys, shouldn't you add that mickie James kissed Melina before kicking her in the noggin?

Not really because that's just apart of the move... it is called "The Goodnight Kiss" after all. WeLsHy (talk) 02:22, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

Intro paragraph

Not that this is a big issue or anything, I just want to know, but at the beginning of the intro paragraph it says "Survivor Series 2007 is the...." I was thinking should it say "Survivor Series 2007 will be the..." I just wanted to get some opinions for future PPV's as well. Thanks! KBW1 18:15, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

I agree. Maybe like this, "Survivor Series 2007 will mark the 10th year anniversary of the infamous 1997 Survivor Series".... so on. Agreements? Zenlax T C S 20:51, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

Agreed about the first point, not so much on the 10th anniversary point. WWE doesn't seem to be noting that at all. TJ Spyke 21:27, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
Agree with TJ. Davnel03 19:55, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

ECW Championship Match

Why isn't it in the match card? It's not like they haven't been talking about it for weeks. 67.142.130.17 (talk) 23:12, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

Its been listed in the article since the day the match was announced!-- bulletproof 3:16 23:20, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, I saw it once I asked about it. My fault for skimming over the article instead of reading like I should be, I suppose. 67.142.130.17 (talk) 23:31, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

CM PUNK RETAINED THE TITLE. IT'S DONE.

No Headline

I'm not watching so I'm just wondering why did Finlay attack Khali ?? Doesn't seem like something he would do. Also should someone mention that for the second year in a row Jeff and Triple H have been surviors of their team ? WeLsHy (talk) 02:42, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

Not relevant to the article. (Sawyer (talk) 02:50, 19 November 2007 (UTC))
It would sound like trivia. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 03:04, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
And as to Finlay attacking Kahli, it was to help out Hornswaggle. (Sawyer (talk) 03:16, 19 November 2007 (UTC))

I'm so slow... I only just realised why Finlay helped Hornswoggle.WeLsHy (talk) 03:17, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

HBK and Orton match

Who's Champion? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 03:14, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

Orton. WeLsHy (talk) 03:16, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

Why does it say The Rock? 76.110.82.251 (talk) 03:25, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

It was probably vandalism. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 03:31, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

Someone vandalized the match again. It says ZUZURANGER defeated THIRTH.

Fixed it. (Sawyer (talk) 03:33, 19 November 2007 (UTC))
Again, vandalism. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 03:46, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

Batista+Taker match

Why does it say Batista won? Edge interfered! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.237.86.99 (talkcontribs)

Yes, and as a result of this Batista won. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.22.58.197 (talkcontribs)
Hell in a Cell is no disqualifications, which means what Edge did was perfectly legal. Hence, why Batista retained. 68.118.197.249 (talk) 04:25, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
Couldn't have explained it any better. Hint: Anybody remember when Kane interfered in the first ever HIAC match with HBK and 'Taker. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 04:29, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
First Hell in a Cell was Taker vs. Cena in 2003 at Madison Square Garden. I know because I was there. TonyFreakinAlmeida (talk) 01:13, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
Sorry to disappoint Tony, but the first EVER HIAC was back in 1997 featuring Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker. P.S. Cena's never been in a HIAC match. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 01:45, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
Cena's been in 8 HIAC matches in his career and has a 5 and 3 record in them. Looks like you're wrong. TonyFreakinAlmeida (talk) 02:31, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
Almeida has become a troll! Glorious! Gavyn Sykes (talk) 04:23, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

Tony, you're an idiot. Rawwwrr! (talk) 04:06, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

Very nice of you. Rawwwrr. I have my facts straight, pretty obvious some people here don't and that's a sad part about Wikipedia and it's credibility. TonyFreakinAlmeida (talk) 05:31, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

Tony, I think you're thinking of Triple H or The Undertaker. John Cena's never been in a Hell In A Cell Match. Darkdemon90 (talk) 22 November 2007 (UTC) ^^ Nah, he just wants attention. **1/4. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.162.199.198 (talk) 03:54, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

Was there ever even a Hell in a Cell at Madison Square Garden?--Lord Dagon (talk) 18:54, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

Matt Hardy

  • Matt Hardy was originally supposed to compete as a member of Team Triple H, but was removed following a storyline knee injury.

Storyline knee injury? Where's the facts to show if it's a storylined kayfabe injury or legit? Rawwwrr! (talk) 04:03, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

Uh, because it was? The angle with MVP with his knee being injured was done to smokescreen that he was really being taken off TV because of an appendectomy. The appendectomy has been reported on WWE.com. He'll be out anywhere from 1 to 3 months. TonyFreakinAlmeida (talk) 06:42, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

The appendix thing actually happened on Tuesday, shortly before the ECW/Smackdown tapings. The kayfabe knee injury had nothing to do with the appendectomy. It's not known where the WWE was going to go with the knee injury. User:Milkman519 (talk) 17:11, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

The Big Show backstage

For anyone who is wondering or curious, the Big Show was backstage at the Survivor Series this year. He was there visiting old friends and told them that he was training to become a professional boxer. Just an interesting fact for everyone. User:Milkman519 (talk) 17:15, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

Hell in a cell

This is actually regarding the Hell in a Cell article rather than the SS one, it's just no one seems to watch the HIAC page. Anyway, I think the SS 2007 match run-down needs editing/reverting to how it was originaly. It reads from a commentators persective and is literally move-by-move. Mark handscombe 15:21, 2 December 2007 (UTC)

Doesn't make much sense

"This event was notable for taking place 10 years after the infamous Montreal Screwjob, that occurred 10 years prior to this event in Montreal, Canada". Does "10 years" really have to be mentioned twice in the same sentence? Surely we just need the part before the commar? Mark handscombe (talk) 17:53, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

Ok dude, Imma fix it. --TrUcO9311 TaLk / SiGn 17:55, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
