Talk:Surrender of Lord Cornwallis

Naming edit

The usual convention for articles about paintings at Wikipedia would give The Declaration of Independence (Trumbull), the Surrender of General Burgoyne (Trumbull), the Surrender of Lord Cornwallis (Trumbull), and Washington Resigning his Commission (Trumbull). Such titles provide distinctions between the paintings and the subjects they illustrate, such as the surrender of Lord Cornwallis, which would usually redirect to Siege of Yorktown#British surrender.--Wetman (talk) 23:26, 12 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Far be it from me to prevent you from moving them if you think so. Magic♪piano 02:25, 13 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
