Purchase by the British Crown

The first of the two references [4] supporting the claim that the British Crown purchased the painting does not discuss it at all. The second reference [1] briefly mentions the claim but does not provide a further citation.

I'm a wikipedia nube who doesn't know jack, so just figured I'd comment and leave it up for a while before editing anything. I assume the former problem requires a failed verification tag or just removal. The latter problem likely requires a search for more sources before any action.

@HomeAliveIn45: Y done, and both references have been removed. I conducted a cursory search in Jstor and G-scholar but was not able to find any information to corroborate the claims made by the two former sources. SamHolt6 (talk) 13:08, 3 August 2020 (UTC)
