Some useful links. cart-Talk 17:30, 18 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
@W.carter: I've added some brief content discussing the effects of tourism, though I don't really like the title "controversy". Reaper Eternal (talk) 14:33, 20 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
Ok, call it what you like. This is also a big deal in the online communities such as Instagram, with hashtags reported in newspapers around the world. It might be worth a mention. cart-Talk 14:42, 20 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Hongooi: I see you undid my edit without explanation. A quick check of Google Books & Google Scholar shows only sources talking about this in relation to California, so I don't see how a California-specific phenomenon is supposed to be globalized. If you have reliable sources discussing Superblooms elsewhere, great, let's see some... the only thing I saw in Scholar was discussion of algae blooms in waterways and the like, which is clearly a different topic. I have left a message on this editor's talk page after Reaper Eternal again removed the tag and Hongooi again replaced it. Am hoping to get some discussion going there, we shall see (?). A loose necktie (talk) 05:50, 19 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
I'd be interested in seeing his rationale for adding the tag, especially considering he reverted me removal with a countervandalism tool with no explanation. I also note that he cut and pasted most of the contents of the article onto Desert bloom without attribution in violation of the copyright. Both of these pages should possibly be merged. Reaper Eternal (talk) 14:46, 19 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
I've reverted the cut-and-paste move as a copyright violation. I agree that the articles should likely be merged somehow, but that's 100% not the way to do it. Reaper Eternal (talk) 14:17, 20 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
