Fake app edit

@PhotographyEdits: Be aware that SuperSU app has been removed from play store since 2018, the existing one is nither published by Chainfire nor CCMT. Shinohara Chihiro (talk) 08:51, 15 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Any citations to back up your claims that the app in Playstore now is fake? -- Yae4 (talk) 11:49, 15 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Yae4 I'd advice you to take a look at the reviews. PhotographyEdits (talk) 11:51, 15 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Shinohara Chihiro Oh, wow! Looks like you are right considering the very bad reviews. I have removed the external link from the article. Thanks! PhotographyEdits (talk) 11:50, 15 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Using bad or good reviews is WP:OR. IMHO the "Official website" is a poor website; should it be deleted too? -- Yae4 (talk) 11:59, 15 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Yes, it should be delete if no reliable source confirms it as official website. As this article suggests the official website of SuperSU is www.supersu.com, which is down since 2019 according to Wayback Machine. Shinohara Chihiro (talk) 12:17, 15 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
On archived page of SuperSU's Play Store page, it show its website is forum.supersu.com , I can further confirm the official website is definitely the now dead supersu.com domain. Shinohara Chihiro (talk) 12:36, 15 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
In this Android Police article I can confirm the package id of SuperSU is eu.chainfire.supersu, apparently differs from the existing one on Play Store, and there's news about SuperSU app being pulled from Play Store, I can determine someone re-uploaded socalled SuperSU app again, and it's not official. @Shinohara Chihiro @Yae4 I have fixed the external links by changing them to webarchive templates. This should be good. PhotographyEdits (talk) 13:22, 15 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Infobox edit

This article should have an infobox for software. Is there an SVG version of the logo available somewhere? Could maybe be extracted for the apk. PhotographyEdits (talk) 13:29, 15 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

@PhotographyEdits: APK can be downloaded here: [1] (APKMirror), but I only found PNG files.
Another problem: APKMirror shows the latest version is 2.82.1 published on January 2, 2018, how would this be presented in infobox? Shall I put the APKMirror link in refs? Shinohara Chihiro (talk) 13:48, 15 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
