  • Nice article about an interesting activist artist group. New enough, long enough, I can't see any signs of copyvio. Lots of sources cited, in various languages, so some are even accessible to the non-Finnish speakers. I find both hooks interesting; the Rosie the Riveter hook doesn't appear properly in the article, though (Moa Sandström's PhD thesis isn't used as a reference either). The feminist connection should be made explicit in the article (with a citation) if this hook is to be used. The "Exhibitions" section is entirely unsourced, which is against the rules and shouldn't be too hard to remedy. QPQ appears not to be necessary.   Not quite there as there is an unsourced section and there are slight issues with the first hook, but I very much hope to see this on the Main Page soon. —Kusma (talk) 12:42, 7 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Thanks Kusma. I really wanted to find an image to include with this, but nothing that turns up has an appropriate license, and I don't think using this exhibition catalogue cover would work under Template:Non-free book cover for this article. (If someone thinks otherwise, I'd be happy to understand the allowable rationale.)
In response to your notes, I've expanded the description of the "Suohpangiehta" poster to include the information in the hook. For the list of exhibitions, most of the similar lists I've seen on other contemporary artists are either not sourced (the same way lists of authors books are generally not sourced) or include only sources for a few of them. I went in and added external links for each of the exhibitions to the list, mostly to the gallery's page for the exhibition. I think that should satisfy sourcing requirements without cluttering the references list with a bunch of additional links. If that doesn't work, let me know and I'll revisit. —Carter (Tcr25) (talk) 14:22, 7 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Tcr25: Content should be verifiable among all our articles, and especially those we promote on the Main Page. So some sources are needed. I accept your rationale for using external links, although that's not the formatting I would choose (and I'd argue with you about it in a GA review, but not here). The hook is now almost appropriately sourced; you have "speaking to" instead of "celebrating" feminism in the article. An image would be great. As all are non-free, they can't go on the Main Page, but I think you could try to argue that the image from here falls under {{Non-free 2D art}}, especially if you include Rosie and discuss the adaptation technique. —Kusma (talk) 14:47, 7 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Kusma: Thanks. I get the rationale, but I'm glad this solution works for now. I'll look at including the image using {{Non-free 2D art}}; it would definitely make the article more useful to readers. I've tweaked the tease to say "signify" instead of "celebrate", which is probably more accurate since Sandström talks more about it's implications for self-determination than feminism specifically. —Carter (Tcr25) (talk) 15:16, 7 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Ok, with that change I think we're good to go for both ALT0 and ALT1. Let me know (ping or my talk) if you are unsure about adding an image.  Kusma (talk) 15:37, 7 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, @Kusma. I've uploaded the image paired with We Can Do It! and a caption along the lines you suggested. It probably needs to be resized, but hopefully otherwise will pass muster. Thanks for the idea! —Carter (Tcr25) (talk) 15:43, 7 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
Yes, it will need to be resized, and I've summoned the reducer bot who will do it at midnight. You'd get a higher resolution by uploading just yours and using {{Multiple image}} to include this and the PD original, but your way works and the rationale is good enough for me (I stopped being WP:VEGAN a few years ago). —Kusma (talk) 15:58, 7 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
