...but fans are still waiting for a 'proper' return for the band with a new album...

10 Mile Bank not a proper album ? Any reason for saying this?

I'd say their last 'proper' album was Change or Die, maybe New Dark Times, the rest since then was remixes and stuff mostly originating from others.
'10 Mile Bank' consisted of remixes but none of the tracks had appeared on any of their previous albums as far as I can tell. It sounds like a very coherent album to me. Until I read this article I wasn't even aware the album was sort of scrambled together rather than written as one. The Seventh Taylor (talk) 20:59, 2 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Ten Mile Bank is classable as a proper album due to new content and fact it is a structured album released as such. May be from a live gig recording - would need checking, if so could make distinction that not a full studio album maybe. New Dark Times and Looking At You are effectively remix/ alternative version compilations (is also similarly the vinyl mixes version of O3).

Ten Mile Bank is I think a dj set of Sunscreem track remixes performed at a club- which was released as an album (probably partly influenced by the delay of Out of the Woods as it meant there was at least an album with some of those tracks on)Martin Phil S (talk) 10:49, 28 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Maybe specify somehow the nature of albums to clarify. This and some other things still need improving on this page- perhaps to bring in line more with the style of other music artist/ band bios and entries. Tracking down more specific sources would also make sense to back up various unsourced facts. Missing tracklistings for albums currently. Martin Phil S (talk) 10:49, 28 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

OOTW may eventually get a late release (it now has, page updated accordingly) and there is speculation over an announced new studio album being worked on from which some new tracks have been previewed online (Shut Up; Soul; Death Valley Sunset and Sweet Life), seems unclear if would be OOTW MkII or a totally new album, again check sources/confirm Martin Phil S (talk) 12:37, 18 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Their new album, Sweetlife, is being released next month. As of today, the only notice online I see about it is on their Facebook page, referring to a record release event on April 24th: Facebook Their flash website at the .com site is gone, and the .co.uk site only loads an image, nothing else. Last time I checked the old site, they'd said they'd set aside work on Out of the Woods to work on a new studio album, so whether or not they return to that and finish polishing it after releasing the new one is anybody's guess. But they'd previously indicated that the new album is not an updated version of Out of the Woods. Secret Snelk (talk) 04:38, 11 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Remixes

edit

Linked to comments in 'albums' above, remix info could be clarified, for example New Dark Times includes the band's remixes of Jarre tracks, are some collaborations/ remixes missing Martin Phil S (talk) 12:37, 18 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

I'm attempting to improve this entry (it's really quite inaccurate and missing references), but I should declare a potential conflict of interest as I'm associated with the subject. Too many linked words. For example, linking the word "song" to the page describing what a song is. 72.48.98.66 (talk) 10:22, 17 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Jimmy Gomez link to US politician incorrect link? May need to remove any sunscreem.com links (if any) as now just using the .co.uk address, I think Martin Phil S (talk) 12:37, 18 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Some errors/ out of date aspects eg nothing on recent activity (band are still active including performing live) Martin Phil S (talk) 12:37, 18 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Have updated web link to sunscreem.co.uk, parking Lucia Holm site link (removed for now as appears broken) - needs investigation as luciaholm.com link did not bring up a site so may be offline. Martin Phil S (talk) 13:16, 18 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
