Notability

I have some concerns about the notability of this page. I'd prefer not to tag it, so I'm starting a talk page discussion instead. Although there has been some news coverage of the suicide, I'm concerned about whether there might not be sourcing to indicate ongoing interest, as we typically would want to see for pages about suicides by young persons. I'm thinking of things like documentaries or other extended coverage, or mentions by prominent persons, or proposed legislation motivated by the suicide. --Tryptofish (talk) 23:27, 13 February 2023 (UTC)

After much thought, and seeing this article still in our NPP queue as unreviewed, I am of the mind that it is more news than encyclopedic. I also oppose lists with names of people categorized by how they died. I'm going to Prod the article as not news. Atsme 💬 📧 02:55, 18 February 2023 (UTC)
