Infobox edit

  • The producers should be mentioned with a source
  • No source for the label or release date
  • Say that is a coutnry album in the body of the article
  • No source to state when it was recorded
When did GANs require a reference to be put in the infobox? DepressedPer (talk) 22:57, 7 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Since you don't add it in the body of the article. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 23:00, 7 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
As everything was move to the body of the article, doesn't need sources here. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 14:58, 8 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Lead edit

  • at numbers 2 and 4 → at numbers two and four
  • charts respectively → charts, respectively.
  • and spawned three singles: → It spawned three singles,
  • State a little regardging the performance of the singles
  • Do the same regarding the music and lyric content
  • You can mention the producers of the album
  • Other promoton of the album? NBC and nother concert
  • This needs to go more in depth
How's it looking? DepressedPer (talk) 23:20, 7 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Great. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 14:31, 8 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Background and development edit

  • Redneck Crazy → release date of the album in between brackets
  • title track and "Whiskey in My Water" → title track, released on... and "Whiskey in My Water" (DATE)
  • "A Guy Walks Into a Bar" → same as previous
Is this right? DepressedPer (talk) 23:20, 7 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
I should have been more specific, the year is just fine. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 14:29, 8 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Music and lyrics edit

  • swampy banjo groove → swampy groove (as the source states)
  • bar joke → old joke
  • writers' round → people are not familiar with this concept
  • Jason Aldean → wikilink
  • while reminding himself of his religious upbringing → not on given source
  • "Better in Boots" is a bro-country song → same as previous
  • wanting to get a chance with an uptown girl → "getting the girl at the end of the day" (quite diferent)
  • wanted it to have class and not be overly patriotic. → wanted it to show "gratitude and respect and to honor the troops"
How's the change-up from the "writers' round" wording? DepressedPer (talk) 23:20, 7 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
You need to explain the concept, the rest is fine. What do they do at those gaterings? MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 14:17, 8 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
How is it? DepressedPer (talk) 14:45, 8 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Outstanding. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 15:00, 8 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Singles and promotion edit

  • to build up hype for the album → byas and doesn't come with the source
  • certified Gold → remove wikilik + gold not on capital letter
  • A music video directed by Jeff Venable was created for the singl → Its music video was directed by Jeff Venable
  • numbers 47 and 52 on both the Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts respectively → numbers 47 and 52 on both the Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts, respectively
  • A music video directed by Eric Welch was made for the single and premiered on June 15, 2015 → The single's music video was directed by Eric Welch and premiered on June 15, 2015
  • instead push → change
  • he will headline → he would headline
  • All these charts need to be wikilinked only once
  Done DepressedPer (talk) 23:20, 7 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Critical reception edit

  • Suffer in Peace received mixed reviews from music critics divided over the production and lyrical content. → Suffer in Peace received mixed reviews from music critics. (The other sentence can and shoud be used in the lead)
  • Jamie Parmenter of Renowned for Sound praised → Jamie Parmenter of Renowned for Sound commended
  • pacing a bit slow → doesn't sound good
  • despite praising → however, he lauded
  • mixed reviews from music critics → The more mixed is Spin, where are the mixed reviews and the negative ones? There are a lot more reviews online. One Country.
Added another Billboard article in there as well. DepressedPer (talk) 23:20, 7 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Track listing edit

  • Missing total length
  Done DepressedPer (talk) 23:20, 7 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Personnel edit

  • Use {{spaced ndash}} so there is the right space between credits and personnel.
  • AllMusic is not a good source for album credits, unless it is a really old album. Use another one
  Done DepressedPer (talk) 23:20, 7 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Chart performance edit

  • Move it to the critical reception and rename the section as "Reception"
  • Billboard 200 → wikilink
  • 4 → four (numbers between 1 and 10 have to be spelled out)
  • 2 → same as preivous
  • selling 36,300 copies for the week, 41,629 units in total album activity (including streaming and TEA)→ selling 36,300 copies in tradional album sales and 41,629 units, including streaming and track equivalent album sales
  • Move the above sources to the end of the sentence
  • On the Billboard 200, it dropped to number 26 the week after and went to number 46 the week of May 30.[36][37] On the week of June 6, it fell to number 71,[38] another spot to 72 the next week,[39] and left the top 100 by dropping down to number 121 for the week of June 20 → I get the point; just say "It left the top 100 on the week of June 2, 2015 (?), spending (insert number of weeks) on the chart."
  • ,before leaving the next week. → remove (don't need to make the same point twice)

Album edit

  • Fine

Singles edit

  • Remove → Songs have their own articles you mention peak positions
  Done DepressedPer (talk) 23:20, 7 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Promotional singles edit
  • Same as previous, add the promo single release on the article
I couldn't find the exact release date of the title track. DepressedPer (talk) 22:57, 7 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Can you find a realiable source saying it was a promo single? MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 02:39, 8 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
The only reliable source of a promo single I can find is for "Poor Boy"/"Damn Good Friends" on Ebay UK. No source for the title track. DepressedPer (talk) 14:05, 8 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Don't add it then. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 14:07, 8 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

References edit

  • The Spin source seems to be dead, archive it.
  • Radio.com, Radio & Records, Youtube, Country Music Television, AllMusic, auspOp → not work
  • Entertainment Weekly, Billboard and Roughstock are missing publisher. You have two option here, you either remove the publisher from all of the sources or add it here.
  • Don't SHOUT in references
Do you mean that Radio.com, YouTube, Country Music Television, AllMusic and auspOp shouldn't be recognized under "|website=" and Radio & Records shouldn't fall under "|magazine=" and just replace them with "|publisher="? DepressedPer (talk) 22:57, 7 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Yes. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 23:02, 7 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Overall edit

  • @DepressedPer: Do a release history secton in the end of the article. I made some minor changes, for example, including the producers on the backgroud section see if you are fie with them. I did everything section by section so it would be easier to spot.MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 14:32, 8 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
@MarioSoulTruthFan: I've added the release history section. DepressedPer (talk) 14:45, 8 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
