- @Missoulian - I've defended you repeatedly on these assertions because I think you mean well, but listing places such as Lolo, Evaro, and Clinton as "suburbs" of Missoula is bordering on the absurd by any stretch of the definition. True, there may be people there who commute to Missoula from there, but can you really claim that they're dependent on Missoula for their existence with people commuting to and fro? In all fairness, I think Billings having a suburb section is silly, too, since only Lockwood would really fit the profile. But, besides that, the claim that Missoula and Billings are "fairly close in size" is equally weak; Billings is almost twice as large, and I would suggest against using Billings as the primary template anyway since their page isn't that great
- I understand the logic that you're using here; you're dedicated to those Missoula Metropolitan Statistical Area numbers that include all of Missoula County. But, let's not confuse metropolitan area with suburb. Tacoma is part of Seattle's Metropolitan area, but it is not a suburb. Yokohama, with 3.6 million people and the capital of Kanagawa Prefecture, is certainly not a suburb of Tokyo despite being in the same Metropolitan area. I would suggest calling these "suburbs" what they are and avoid all dispute:
- "Communities within the 'Missoula, Montana Metropolitan Statistical Area'" or some contraction there of. Though, you may as well send them to Communities of Missoula County if you were going to do that. Unless you're willing to give a brief description of each community and its relevance to Missoula, I would suggest just letting the page be deleted and route people to the Missoula County, Montana page since "Missoula County" and the "Missoula Metropolitan Statistical Area" are basically the same thing.
- @Soglad Tomeetyou - 1)The page was up for deletion, Missoulian removed the tag. 2)The idea that Missoula lives in the shadow of Spokane is equally ridiculous. There's these things called the Bitterroot Mountains in the way.

No sarcasm intended. Spokane's size doesn't matter its economic power does.
Missoula and other western Montana and northern Idaho communities are within Spokane’s wholesale disbursement area. Another words it is not likely that a major company would set up headquarters in one of these smaller communities when the infrastructure needed for cost effectively dispersing goods is well solidified out of Spokane. As a matter of fact it would be purely impractical.
Socially its impact is less than the pre instant connect world. However there is still the fact that it is the city within less than a three hours drive. Less than 200 miles and you are in the city, granted a somewhat boring city. However people will go spend a weekend or go take in an event. The Social isn't as big as it once was but it's still there. So yes, maybe size does matter on the social side of things, just over that moutain range is the city.

I would have to agree that using the Billings page as a template is not a great idea I just looked at it and it is not that strong.
