Map Request edit

Some visual indication of where 30ºN and 30ºS lies would be nice. -- 20:12, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

Added a map which shows where the horse latitudes lie, which are the normal location of the subtropical ridge. Thegreatdr 08:06, 15 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Subtropical ridge and horse latitudes-a merge? edit

As written in the opening, it's the same? Hummingbird (talk) 02:55, 6 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

It seems that the redirect was rapidly reversed, not unsurprisingly given that there was cited material which could have been merged. I support the idea of a merge and propose Horse latitudes as the target on the grounds that its the older article and more familar common name (even if it is the less technical and more prosaic).
