A sample image is available from many banks. Here's a link to the one at Bank of America. Because checks have names of banks on them, I think someone needs to create a GFDL version with the First Bank of Wiki like the ones for original checks. Is there a image request board somewhere? -- Emana (talk) 21:13, 1 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
The images of the front and back of a substitute check were included in this article in mid-2009. The images in this article comes from the U.S. Federal Reserve Board website. As for the suggestion that an image can be included from the Bank of America (BOA), In the case of BOA, those images are copyrighted. Images from banks (and trade associations and industry groups) were not included in this article for that reason, especially since non-copyrighted images were available from the Federal Reserve Board's site. Is the information in this section specific to US standards or global standard? Either way, lets get some references. Stephen Charles Thompson (talk) 01:30, 10 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
