Largest school? edit
- In 1935 it was described as the Presbyterian church's largest school.[1]
Is this the largest Presbyterian school in Kentucky or in the entire United States? It isn't clear from the source. Viriditas (talk) 02:53, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, the source is unclear. Maybe we'll get better info in the future. The source was a Florida newspaper (the church in Florida was one of many supporting missions in Appalachia), so it's reasonable to guess that it was the largest school anywhere that was being supported by the denomination. Another source of uncertainty is that fact the "denomination" could have been just one of multiple U.S. Presbyterian denominational organizations that existed then. --Orlady (talk) 21:26, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
