DYK edit

Poosible DYK-hook

Other suggestions? Rettetast (talk) 19:11, 24 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Reading the article in Bergen byleksikon again, it doesn't explicitly say that it was destroyed due to the Voorbode explosion. It does say it was destroyed in 1944, but it is possible that this was due to bombing, and not the explosion. I'll change the article. If you can find a source that supports the statement, please add it. --Aqwis (talk) 21:08, 24 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
Ahh. I had too look a second time too. I'll look. Rettetast (talk) 21:31, 24 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
Found it. [1]. Rettetast (talk) 21:35, 24 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
Great! The hook's good, although it should probably be "house" instead of "home". --Aqwis (talk) 21:56, 24 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
Yes. I'll add it to T:TDYK. Rettetast (talk) 22:06, 24 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Some historic images could be added edit

I have searched a bit at b.no and found som historic images. The images by Anders Beer Wilse has to meet the criteria of {{PD-Norway}} at commons. Rettetast (talk) 18:19, 6 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Generic

1916 fire

I believe the third picture is of Småstrandgaten, rather than Strandgaten. --Aqwis (talk) 20:03, 6 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
Yes. Looks like it is taken just outside Galleriet, but where is Xhibition?
The first image is probably the best. It is in Gågaten, but I cannot nail down exactly where it is taken from. Maybe from Muralmenningen. Rettetast (talk) 21:15, 6 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
I think the buildings to the right in the picture are located on the site of the Xhibition/post office building, which I believe was built in the 1950s. --Aqwis (talk) 11:19, 7 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
