Storrs, ConnecticutStorrs-Mansfield, Connecticut – According to the USPS ZIP Code Lookup tool, the recommended city names for 06268 and 06269 are "Storrs-Mansfield, CT" - "Storrs" is an accepted shorthand substitution, but should not represent the community on its own. • Oppose the village of Storrs is in the town of Mansfield. I think the ZIP codes probably cover a region different from the village itself, also covering parts that are outside of the village. That's what Google Maps suggests is what the ZIPs covers -- 67.70.25.175 (talk) 07:06, 11 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
What portions of the ZIP codes cover regions different from the "Village of Storrs?" Areas of Mansfield not covered by 06268 and 06269 are 06250 "Mansfield Center, CT" Jonathanhusky (talk) 15:12, 11 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose move. The common name for this village is Storrs. O.N.R. (talk) 18:34, 11 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
  • Strong oppose I don't care what the "USPS ZIP Code Lookup tool" says. We have policies like WP:COMMONNAME which govern article titles for populated places. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 21:15, 11 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose per above, Storrs remains a prominent stand-alone name and locale. Randy Kryn (talk) 12:40, 14 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
