formatting a note from another editor edit

Hi Editors, why does the caption of the picture say "art work of a black pregnant woman?" Doesn't seem relevant, and does seem pretty inappropriate. Just wanted to bring this to your attention.Grrbrown (talk) 06:26, 18 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

The picture caption edit

that says "pregnant African-American woman erected by political activists." needs to be referenced. And probably better addressed in the article its self. If not it should (opinion) be removed. Carptrash (talk) 17:55, 20 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Necessary info? edit

Article says "by Thomas D'Alesandro Jr., Nancy Pelosi's father". I feel this is not necessary or relevant. It would be far more appropriate to identify him "Mayor Thomas D'Alesandro" rather than as Nancy Pelosi's father. For instance, would we say that a piece of legislation was signed by "George H. W. Bush, George W. Bush's father", or would we say it was signed by "President George H. W. Bush"? Would we say "The bill was sponsored by Bob Dole, Elizabeth Dole's husband", or that it was sponsored by "Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole"?? SecretName101 (talk) 16:43, 26 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Agree with SecretName101, it should just be noted as Mayor.Scott218 (talk) 15:04, 27 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
