Were these ships actually commissioned into the Navy? If not, then most of the USS designations are probably inappropriate. --J Clear (talk) 01:41, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

The disambiguation page for USS_America says that the Stone Fleet ship was actually named American, but this article lists ships with both names, each in a different fleet and with different tonnage. Anybody know what's going on there? MolotovH (talk) 19:16, 19 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
