The County in the Info box is incorrect. I'm not sure how to update it? I can change the information but don't know how to update the reference link. --Piratepointwiki (talk) 01:49, 11 August 2023 (UTC)
- Hi Piratepointwiki. I'm happy to help. Can you let me know what the county should be, and provide a reliable source to support this so I can update the reference? Also just for future information, new topics on talk pages should go at the bottom of the talk page, not the top. :) Damien Linnane (talk) 02:05, 11 August 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks @Damien Linnane ! The county should be "Gloucester" but this shouldn't be linked to the town. The current reference to the entry for Stockton at the Geographical Names Board just needs to be updated - https://proposals.gnb.nsw.gov.au/public/geonames/625112f8-b8ae-4a5d-9c78-845bb6ba3642 .Re: New talk page topics, thanks for the advice, much appreciated. - I've just moved it. It's not a big deal here since there aren't many comments, but it is important for pages that get lots of discussion, so it's a good habit to get into.
- I've made the requested change. See here [1]. I think I see what your issue was. The previous reference was using some kind of reference template I was not previously familiar with, and still don't understand after having looked at it. If that ever happens in the future, feel free to just replace the reference template with a generic one, like I have. There's no hard rule about what reference format you use, as long as it's easy to understand. Damien Linnane (talk) 05:55, 11 August 2023 (UTC)
