I have added some notability information...

It was formed in 1956, and has provided orchestral experience for many players who have gone on to make a name for themselves, for example Jennifer Pike, and has commissioned work from composers such as Alistair King, as well as performing premiers of pieces such as Shell Adagio for strings by Nimrod Borenstein.
