This article does not reflect the work that has already begun on the tunnel, but rather only handles the planning stages. Vikingviolinist (talk) 14:41, 24 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Stockholm City Line

edit

Is there a source for 'Stockholm City Line' as a proper name? The official English-language sources I've seen call it just 'City Line', meaning that under conventions for disambiguation, the article would be called 'City Line (Stockholm)'. David Arthur (talk) 19:51, 2 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Is it possible to add more stations?

edit

Stockholm C and Stockholm Odenplan are not enaugh. Why not add more stations (marked in Italic)

  • Stockholms Sodra
  • Stockholm Slussen
  • Stockholm Gamla Stan
  • Stockholm C
  • Stockholm Norrmalm
  • Stockholm Radmansgatan
  • Stockholm Odenplan
  • Stockholm Vasastan
  • Stockholm Karolinska Institutet
  • Tomteboda

This will have 9 stations, of which Tomteboda is partly in the tunnel, like Hyllie in Malmo. Slussen is important, because it can connect also to Saltsjobanan that have only connections to the Metro lines 13 to 14 and 17 to 19 via Slussen metro station. Gamla stan is a good question because, if travelling by commuter rail, example from Rotebro, you will have to change to metro at the Central Station to visit the beutifal part of Stockholm. Doing this way, travelling with SL Pendeltag to Gamla stan, you will dont need changes for Metro. You can change to metro red and green lines via Gamla stan metro station Norrmalm is another important station, because it can serve Central Stockholm and Haymarket, the plan is to connect via Hötorget Metro Station. Radmansgatan it's secondary, just because you can connect to the Metro Green lines 17, 18, 19 via Rådmansgatan metro station Vasastan is secondary and it has no connection or particular informaton Karolinska Institutet and Tomteboda are important because they serve the Institute and University Hospital, and adding those station, you dont neet connection for a local buses.
