The first sentence of this page is long and incomprehensive. I cannot understand it. It should be cut down to understandable pieces.
The three criteria are in my view not completely correct. Stochastic resonance does not only appear in periodic signals. In 1995 aperiodic stochastic resonance is presented (Aperiodic stochastic resonance in excitable systems, by J.J. Collins ea, in The American Physical Society). Furthermore, stochastic resonance can also occur when the signal is capable of reaching the threshold. This is already mentioned in the general stochastic resonance article.
Finally, the noise does not have to be uncorrelated. Several proves of stochastic resonance with colored noise are presented. In this case the noise is random, but not uncorrelated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dieuwert Mul (talk • contribs) 10:24, 4 October 2017 (UTC)
There is no mention of the work done in the area of Stochastic Resonance as applied to improving patient bodily balance. . Such work has been done and is probably still underway at Harvard, Wyss Institute and Harvard, Institute for Aging Research. . Efforts toward commercialization are said to be underway, but no results have appeared yet. Allenwoll (talk) 18:45, 15 October 2018 (UTC)
