How long?

In the intro: "The two forks join near Arlington. From there the Stillaguamish River proper flows for 22 miles (35 km) to Puget Sound."

But in the Course section: "The two forks unite at Arlington in northwestern Snohomish County. The combined stream flows west, entering the north end of Port Susan, an arm of Puget Sound, approximately 10 miles (16 km) west of Arlington."

So how long is the river below Arlington: 22 miles or 10 miles? If the discrepancy depends on whether Port Susan is considered part of the river or part of Puget Sound, that issue needs to be resolved. 64.85.240.22 (talk) 07:10, 1 July 2011 (UTC)

Also, a length is given for the North Fork, which is stated to be the longer of the two, but no length is given for the South Fork. --Haruo (talk) 19:27, 26 March 2014 (UTC)

Oops, I see it now, it's only in the first paragraph that the South Fork is unmeasured. --Haruo (talk) 19:42, 26 March 2014 (UTC)

Just looking at a map it appears 10 miles has to be too short, although 22 is probably too long. The river does loop backwards a bit, so its length will be greater than the distance between the two points... --Haruo (talk) 19:44, 26 March 2014 (UTC)
