Just saw that Wikipedia may delete this article. That would be a strange departure from past practice... lots of murderers are on Wikipedia. I found one of the Brown's Chicken killers on here, for instance. Dennis Rader the Wichita BTK killer. Jeffrey Dahmer. They're all on Wikipedia. If Sueppel is going to be deleted for reasons of good taste, then Wikipedia has a heck of a cleanup job getting rid of hundreds of other pages. I think this page ought to be left up. Wikipedia is a place people go for information such as names and dates, and some of the things that happen in the world are highly unpleasant. - Where does it say it's being deleted for bad taste? I don't think it's being considered for that reason, is it? While I don't take a position either way, I think it would be far more likely that it is being considered because it may be thought that a man in the middle of the US killing his family is not important enough to merit a Wikipedia entry. Merger Proposal edit
I propose that Iowa City Sueppel murders be merged into Steven Sueppel. I think that the perpetrator of the crime warrants a page and is a more likely search term, being linked to from list pages. - On this one, I think that it is the crime which is notable, not the perpetrator, so the merge should be to the crime page; this would be more consistent with WP:1E. Committing a crime isn't sufficient justification for independent notability (WP:CRIME). Consider also the discussion at Talk:Iowa City Sueppel murders#Merger Discussion, which may grow.
