I've just finished a fairly major overhaul of this article that was badly in need of references. I kept what I could find references for. I decided to remove the TV credits section all together, many of which were not even listed on IMDB. As for the more notable TV appearances for which I could find references, I have kept them in the body of the article.

I also rely almost exclusively on sources I can find via web and understandably it is difficult to find reliable sources to cite for his early music work, particularly since extreme metal genres are relatively new and quite niche and therefore don't yet have much in the way of scholarly works about them and I have had to rely here and there on admittedly less-than-reliable sources to fill in the gaps. I also found very little about his band Presto. I kept the albums listed in the article's discography prior to my overhaul on good faith because I cannot find any mention of these CDs anywhere on the web in order to confirm their existence, let alone their titles or release dates, or to confirm that they were truly released on Mushroom Records. I did at least find 2 interviews where Hughes mentioned that Presto released 2 CDs.

I also found conflicting information about the timeline surrounding his move to the UK. Many sources stated he relocated there in 2002, seemingly insinuating that he moved there directly from Australia. Yet I also found a few sources mentioning he first moved to Ireland in the late 90s, then on to London then on to Manchester, where he finally settled. Perhaps 2002 was really when he finally settled in Manchester? Or maybe he doesn't really include his stay in Ireland because he was just staying there temporarily and had not yet officially moved out of Australia...??? I also can't find anything about exactly how long he stayed in London. I tried my best to cover the timeline with the references that I had.

I also found some conflicting information about where Hughes was when he lived with Jim Jefferies. This article from TNT Magazine stated he lived with Jefferies while he was in London, but I found other articles suggesting that the two lived in Manchester together. And apparently Jim Jefferies has also lived in both cities which didn't help. However Jefferies apparently used to do a stand-up bit about a time he experienced a home invasion on his home in Manchester - I found several mentions of this including this CNN article. I also found this article where Jefferies stated that it Hughes was the "friend" that was living with he and his girlfriend at the time. So I have deduced that the TNT Magazine must be wrong because all other evidence seems to point to Hughes having lived with Jefferies in Manchester.

So while not all of the citations I added were from the most "reliable" of sources, I felt confident that the article now at least is at a standard that the "BLP unsourced" tag could be removed. Cheers! --Marchijespeak/peek 03:09, 20 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
