Disambiguation edit

I don't know if "Steve Burke" article needs disambiguation page. There seems to be more than one Steve Burkes. Trueshow111 (talk) 20:22, 26 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Resume tag edit

I have removed the resume tag after editing the article to make the tone more encyclopedic, adding citations and updating career information. Quorum816 (talk) 17:41, 9 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Nationality edit

He was born in England but is there any evidence he holds British citizenship when his parents and wife and home and career are all entirely American and the UK doesn't have birthright citizenship? 96.250.80.27 (talk) 07:21, 29 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

You are right that the UK doesn't have birthright citizenship now, but it did have in 1958. There was an exception for children born to foreign POWs and foreign diplomats - these did not automatically acquire UK citizenship by being born in the UK. Burke's parents weren't diplomats, so he would have become British at birth if born in the UK. However, I can find no evidence that he was born in Birmingham, UK. This requires a citation.
