Water-drawing festival

AirshipJungleman29 has removed the following sentence on a technicality. I'm more concerned with the fact that the connection between the Roman-period street and the water-drawing festival isn't clarified elsewhere, being just stated as fact in the lead (intro). I doubt this festivity can be pinned to a street only built around 30 CE, just 4 decades before the destruction of the Temple.

History

I see. Why didn't you write "repetition" in the edit summary? So that's sorted, but not my problem with it: who says that this particular street built in 30 CE is the one used in the festival? When (in what historical period) was this festival celebrated? Who, other than ELAD (and probably Ben Gvir), connects the two? Unconvinced. Arminden (talk) 21:02, 27 August 2024 (UTC)
