Need for Citations/Sources edit

I think the article could do with a few more citations to reliable sources. The following may help. (Msrasnw (talk) 15:20, 23 April 2015 (UTC))Reply

Some possibly useful refs to help with the article edit

  • Birzer, Brad (2007) “Stephen Lawhead and the Conundrum of Celtic Catholicism,” St. Austin Review (March-April): 9-12
  • Doherty, J. J. (1999). 'A land shining with goodness': Magic and Religion in Stephen R. Lawhead's "Taliesin, Merlin, and Arthur". Arthuriana. 9, 57-66.

Restore List of Works? edit

Is is acceptable to restore the list of works to this article or perhaps create a stub that contains the list? I found the list helpful and it seems to be removed because of a dispute over the biographical content. Can we separate that debate from the list of Stephens bibliographical list of writing? There was a useful list referenced as recently as 24 April 2015. Some sources to validate his authorship might include Stephen's website or Internet Speculative Fiction Database (ISFDB). --CitizenUnderdog (talk) 15:24, 27 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

I'm going to say no. While a few selected books may be included, Wikipedia should not be a long list of past works. Mdann52 (talk) 12:08, 28 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
Is that opinion or policy? I've certainly seen plenty of articles with comprehensive bibliographies. I'd be interested to know what Wikipedia's policy is in this regard Natebailey (talk) 01:37, 28 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
It seems to be opinion. I also am not aware of such a policy, and it was only removed a couple of months ago, started by Mdann52 (who is also the one who flagged the article for deletion for some reason), and it was removed sloppily, since a relevant and easily citeable fact was also removed concerning his honorary doctorate (which I have just re-added). There seem to be 2 edit wars going on with IPs from the UK--one over the list of works, and one over the statement about Lawhead's daughter-in-law (which seems easily citeable, but I agree isn't really relevant to the article).
