On July 12, 2021, Smith made several disparaging remarks about the Los Angeles Angels two-way player Shohei Ohtani, mainly about his need for an interpreter since Ohtani is from Japan. Many people criticised his comments, since they were considered racist, xenophobic, and came around a time where Asians were still recovering from the effects of racism during the COVID-19 pandemic. He apologized later that day stating that he had "screwed up". [1] 76.82.51.127 (talk) 03:27, 13 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

There should be something here about his actual record as a basketball player since he acts like he knows so much about what it's like to be one. I guess he played in high school but there's no proof of that and good Good luck finding his statistics Winston-Salem because they appeared to be buried as though there's some kind of national secret.Jackhammer111 (talk) 02:30, 8 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

There is a factual error in the biography. Smith is the youngest of six children, not the fifth of six as stated. In fact the characterization of “fifth” is refuted in the next sentence. It says “ Smith is the fifth of six children.[2][5] He has four older sisters and had a older brother,…” if he has 5 older siblings he can’t be 5th. He says in his biography that he’s youngest of six. Wcgerken (talk) 06:31, 11 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Done The cited source says that he is the youngest. RudolfRed (talk) 02:56, 12 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Shouldn’t he be listed as an actor as well? It’s not just a cameo. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:645:4300:EE90:687E:5279:EE31:2413 (talk) 22:25, 6 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
